A mystery couple from the 1920s. . .A wedding photo found at an antique store is the focal point of this mixed media piece filled with rustic, autumn tones. Vintage handwriting, doilies, and gold veined leaves all add to its many layers. This piece is a larger version of 'moonshine marriage I.'
Materials: Layers of mixed media and acrylic paint, as well as rust-dyed and found papers on 10X10" wood panel. Sides of panel are painted black. It’s ready to hang as is (no framing required) or the panel can stand on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a piano, etc.
This is an original mixed media painting on a wood panel consisting of a 3 mm birch surface cradled on a 1.5" thickness gallery wood frame. Signed on reverse. This piece has been finished with a matte varnish to protect against moisture and discolouration. Avoid placing all artwork in direct sunlight.
